With wedding talent, timing decides who you can actually get. Here's how to plan the runway.
The short answer: earlier is better
- Marquee / A-list names: start 6–12 months out, especially for peak-season dates.
- Popular mid-range singers, bands, and DJs: 3–6 months is comfortable.
- Emerging acts: often bookable on shorter notice.
Season matters most
Peak wedding season (roughly November to February) and long weekends are the tightest — the best artists get committed early. An off-season or midweek date gives you more choice and more negotiating room.
Booking close to the date?
Don't panic. We regularly arrange bookings on shorter timelines — you just have fewer options, so move quickly and stay flexible on the artist. Go in with a shortlist, not one name.
Get real availability
The only way to know is to check. Tell us your date, city, and shortlist, and we'll confirm who's genuinely free and come back — usually within one business day — with a clear quote.
